Following the highly successful 2024 TT at Stone, we are returning for the 2025 National Championship.
Stone Sailing Club is situated in the picturesque village of St Lawrence overlooking the Blackwater Estuary (and for the slightly older amongst us the original Radio Caroline radio ship). The club balcony has fantastic views of the racing area as does the local pub The Stone Inn, which also has a very good curry house section!
Although in Essex this sleepy little village could easily double as a Devon seaside village. The Dart fleet at the club is small (mainly consisting of Pete (Fat Boys) Sherwin. However with Marconi Sailing Club a stone throw away there is a strong local estuary fleet to base the event around; and the water off Stone broadens out into a big bay that allows racing at all states of the tide.
